Where I have found alloyed bolts for sale, the alloy is not specified in the ebay ad. Practically speaking, I have thus far found zero information about the relative importance of substituting a steel bolt for a bolt made of alloys such as CuTeP, Te: 0.4-0.7%.
If I could get a CuTeP bolt to affix my cable to my battery, why should I settle for a steel bolt with an electric conductivity of just 15%? Versus the 93% that a tellurium or sulfur copper alloy bolt could do, it seems to me that it might make sense to get a better bolt that the stock steel one.
